About ImagineWorks

Mission

ImagineWorks's Mission is to make S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and robotics education accessible to all youth regardless of enrolled school, educational status, age, gender, and demographics. In addition, providing support for existing programs within the community.

 

Vision

Our vision is to develop a S.T.E.M. and robotics facility for the community. Facilities, equipment, resources, and professionals are consolidated to benefit the community more broadly, efficiently, and effectively.

ImagineWorks

is a registered Hawaii 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, non-partisan organization. Our organization's pursuit is to make S.T.E.M. and robotics education more accessible to the community. We operate exclusively for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes. Our goal is to offer more youths in our community opportunities to hands-on, critical-thinking, learning. Our academies promotes Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Robotics disciplines.

Board of Directors

Eric Y Teshima
President/Director

Eric is a 2012 Graduate of Kalani High School and its robotics program currently Studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii. He operates ImagineBots LLC making educational robotic kits and Kishimura Industry Japan specializing in renewable energy projects.

Grant R Takara
Treasurer/Director

Grant is a 2012 Graduate of Kalani High School and its robotics program. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Hawaii in 2016 and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree. He operates ImagineBots LLC making educational robotic kits and has experience as a machinist working at the UH machine shop.

Christopher Escalante
Vice President/Director

Christopher is a 2010 Graduate of Mckinley High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Hawaii in 2015. He is currently employed at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF as a nuclear engineer.

Carson J Wong
Secretary/Director

Carson is a 2012 Graduate of Kalani High School and its robotics program. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Hawaii in 2016. He operates ImagineBots LLC making educational robotic kits and has experience working at Oceanit, a local engineering firm.
